Sunshine is a beautiful thing to waste. When its sunny, we often spend time outdoors with our family and friends around the pool, cooking on the barbecue, playing ball, and just hanging out. The sun, while we love it for its warmth, can sometimes hurt our eyes, make us sweat, and cause sunburns. Outdoor sail shades are usually an apt solution to an overbearing sun problem. Sail shades provide strength and protection from dangerous UV radiation and often still appeal to our sense of decor and style. Retractable awnings can be expensive and are required to be installed upon an exterior wall. Outdoor sun shades can be attached to the edges of fences, custom poles, and other apparatus that isn’t cumbersome, overbearing, and ugly.

Finding a quality shade is important. Most shades are quite affordable, but if you are considering investing in an outdoor sail shade, it is best to make sure you are purchasing a quality product. Our outdoor sun sail shades are produced with high-density polyethylene (HDPE) shade fabric and UV stabilized sewing thread. Each order is individually cut, sewn, and hemmed to provide the appeal you were hoping for and the strength you were seeking.

If you currently do not have any shade structure foundations set, inquiring to do so would be a great first step. Most often, outdoor sail shades installation can be improvised among existing foundations within your yard, but having custom designed and installed support poles will ensure the safety and longevity of your product. Support poles are designed to withstand inclement weather and our sail shades are fastened to the support poles via a high tension hook and cable. These cables are removable as well.

When it comes to styles of outdoor sail shades, most homeowners purchase triangular shades (both equilateral and isosceles) or rectangular shades. Every outdoor sail shade is designed with a slight curve along each edge for that fashionable feel that most customers want. Triangular shades are usually layered and sequenced aesthetically. Shade structures can be built to support both triangular shade sails and rectangular ones as well. The heights of such structures can be adjusted depending on the customer’s preference. Typically, it is a safe bet to install the support poles high enough that they are effective at blocking the sun from many angles during high-intensity hours.
